1	Me Says: Report Abuse Saturday, 7/4/2009 11:51:15 PM I ask pharmacy why this brand endo morphine that was green, it was like a placebo, they still medicine or they gave me somenting else, before in the same pharmacy they gave me a purple one and that one works so I want to find out is the pharmacist, wind dixie in Dunnellon florida giving me placebo or what, that is why I requested a picture they only told me is green because is different maker endo, well I been in a lot of pain because of this know I dont know what pharmacy to thrust or what because like I say the purple one it did work so can you send me a picture of this sulfate morphine long relice 30 mg from endo maker, thanks.
2	Verwon Says: [Moderator] Sunday, 7/5/2009 9:06:36 PM Due to copyright reasons, I cannot post pictures, however, I can tell you that the green 30mg Morphine CR tablet manufactured by Endo should bear the marking 30 on one side of the tablet and E653 on the other. This is a generic for MS Contin, a 12 hour time released formulation. That said, there is a possible reason it may not work as well for you as the other tablets you were receiving, under US federal law, generics are allowed to differ from their name brand counterparts by as much as plus or minus 20%. This means that what you were getting before may have had the exact amount or more of the active ingredient, but this one may have less than that one did. The FDA considers this to be within an acceptable therapeutic window, however, for some people, this 20% is enough to make a large difference in the management of their conditions. This is a very potent narcotic analgesic, used to treat severe pain. Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
