1	Mike Thompson Says: Report Abuse Saturday, 12/3/2005 4:06:29 PM I am not sure if you mean Nonoxynol-9 - but it has been used as a contraceptive agent and to treat certain viral infections up to a certain point. Studies of Nonoxynol-9 had shown that it was not effective against HIV virus.
