I had been taking neurontin for numerous years with other medications. Neurontin was prescribed for me to help major depression ONLY. This medicine was added to my other medications to boost the other. I began falling and tripping etc. I went through numerous tests to see what the problem was. It took over 6 months to find out I was over medicated. Neurontin is for zeizures. There was a class action suit on this. Apparently the sales people were telling the doctors it could help with other conditions. The FDA only approved it for seizures. I was weined off of it and some other ones and do not fall etc. now.
bingo! both lyrica and neurontin did that to me. I was on the lowest dose and could not walk. it is given to help chronic pain. primary a seizure drug tho
Dizziness is a side effect. Some people may be more sensitive than others. In recent years many more uses have been discovered for it besides seizures. ANY medication may have bad side effects for some people. Neurontin has been a life-saver for me due to the occiipital neuralgia I developed.
