Ajay Says:
I took a 500mg Naproxen yesterday, it took it a second to kick in. I was having a real bad headache and a friend gave me one. When I got to work I started feeling really relaxed and dizzy. It was like my body felt like puddy or I had no bones in my body. Is it suppose to make me feel this way? True enough the headache was gone and I felt like a totally different person but I didn't like the side affects it caused.

My doctor recommended to start with two 220 mg. pills for arthritis - which would only be 440 mgs and then follow with only one within the time allotted according to the bottle.
He told us not to take more than the 440 mg. EVER so it sounds like you possibly took too much and one at 220 mg would have been better for a headache, unless it was a migraine, then you'd take two to start with then one there after - again, this is according to my doctor as I have migraines and arthritis and this is the over the counter med suggested by my doctor and the pharmacist. They truly work for us whether it be a headache or arthritis, if taken properly. Good luck!

I would not take this crap.
I took it for 2 months for a broken tail bone, and after i stopped taking it, i bruised ALL over.

The docs said that it messes with your blood count.
Its bad stuff. Take Tylenol.

500mgs is a prescription dosage, being that you hadn't taken it before, it sounds like that was way too much for you to use as a starting dose.
