4	Roy Says: Report Abuse Friday, 5/16/2008 4:37:56 PM Tina, I'm pretty sure it's not a blood thinner. Brand name: Mepergan. Meperidine is a narcotic pain reliever. Promethazine is used to relieve nausea and vomiting. This combination medicine is used to relieve moderate to severe pain. Please double check with your doctor or pharmacist just to make sure. When you do find out, can you please post a definite answer back? I'm also curious to know for sure...
