1	April Says: Report Abuse Monday, 9/14/2009 10:40:31 PM My doctor prescribed 40 mg. Lisinopril for my high blood pressure. Within a day, my pulse was under 50 and my bp was always under 90/50. I complained and he lowered it to 20 mg. daily. That is a little better, but now I'm having heart palpitations and dizziness. I think he's trying to kill me. If your doctor doesn't take your complaints seriously, you MUST switch doctors! I am going to this week.

Lisinopril is used to help lower blood pressure. Common side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and fatigue.
