Lisinopril caused leg cramps and a cough. I got off of it after several months.

Madeline,
I've been on a 5 mg dose of Lisinopril for about 3 months. I did research at the manufactuer's site and found that Lisinopril causes retention of Potassium and that we should be on a Low Potassium diet. Please check into this right away with your Doctor... too much Potassium is just as dangerous as too little. - Jim
