8	Verwon Says: [Moderator] Wednesday, 2/22/2006 7:54:10 AM Well first of all, the colors of pills are not proprietary, so not all Percocets are yellow, the only way to tell what it is, is to look up the imprint code. The sizes, shapes and colors of pills can vary greatly from manufacturer to manufacturer once a pill is released for generic production as there are NO regulations governing any of these things with pills. The only requirement is that each prescription drug manufactured and/or sold in the US must have unique imprints for identification purposed. So you cannot say that is isn't a Percocet just because it isn't long, oval and yellow like the ones you had. Now, as to the next post, all Percocets contain Acetaminophen, sorry, there aren't any that contain only codeine, and Percocets DO NOT contain Codeine anyway, they contain Oxycodone. As to the generic name for Percocet, the only real generic name would be the name of the actual active meds, which in the case of Percocet is Acetaminophen and Oxycodone.
