Has Anybody Tried This For Functional Dyspepsia

I was just prescribed Rabeprazole 20 mg 1 x / day for abdominal discomfort, bloating, etc. I was wondering if anybody has tried this medication, and what sort of experience they had with it. Basically for the past few days I've been unable to eat without experiencing severe bloating and discomfort leading to nausea and trapped gas that does not want to escape. After a 5 hour visit to urgent care gall stones and ulcers seem to be ruled out at this point because I haven't experienced accompanying pain (thankfully). I have 6 days worth of pills to start with, which will at least let me get on a flight back home in 2 days. I read about it and see that there are several side effects which always make me weary to try a new drug. If anybody can offer feedback it would be appreciated!
