2	Lucy Says: Report Abuse Tuesday, 4/29/2008 9:45:33 PM this is a water pill i take it along with lisinopril for blood pressure if you take it alone then your pressure must be related to water retention my doctor prescribed it to me along with lisinopril saying this water pill will help with water retention that might be forming around your heart which can also cause a slight elevated blood pressure
