1	Samsgranny Says: Report Abuse Friday, 10/23/2009 3:48:34 PM Neurotion is not a recreactional drug. It is used primarily for Seizures but has alternate uses. It will not produce a high of any kind.

I don't know all the details but if it is a teen and they thought the pills were for pain they might be thinking that the pills are in the opiate category to get high which is a total misconception. This drug can be dangerous if not used correctly. I personally took it for pain and found no relief so my Dr. kept increasing the dosage until I was on the maximum dose. I went into kidney failure and was quite ill for some time. If a medication is not prescribed----get rid of it!

It HAS, however, been abused, mainly because it can cause some feelings of dizziness, so people think they are getting a high, plus since they think it treats pain, they think narcotic and keep taking more and more to try to find that opiate high, which of course, doesn't happen.
