Me Says: Report Abuse

According to my parents when I was 4 months old my body became tight and some foam type has come out from my mouth. That is first and last. I grown up and i have done degree in engineering.I joined in industry in India itself. After 4 years I got offer from saudi Arabia. I went and working for same company which is producing glass bottles. They are automatica machines which inspect bottles and reject some of bottles with great noice. The sound is crushing of two glass bottles each other. That makes me little irritate. One day I collapse on floor and they admit me into hospital. With in 1/2 hour i got up and enquired my colluges.they did not say any thing but same month I am suffered same way during sleep. Finally it is decided by docotors. I turned back to my home country and went for medical check up. Doctor said if you have epillepsy it must be by borth. More over I suffered most of the time during sleep only. I used to beside my bed and my tung was bite with teeth, these observations are made many times. Finally I went to neorologist she change tablets slowly from used one to currently using tablets LANOZEP 2 for last 8 years on 2-0-2 dosage basis. Docotor told me you have to use longer period atleast 5 years. But in the 4 year I got same sysmptions and I consulted doctor checked and drug quantity revised from 1-0-2 to 2-0-2 tablets. Each tablet is 2 mg and my daily consumption is 4mg per day. I would like to know is it possible to root out this problem. Doctor said it is either grandmal or petitmal Epillepsy. But currently I am working in UAE as Mechanical Engineer. But I lost lot of memory power. Some times I will take more time to recollect the word. But why most of the times it is hapining during sleep only. Should I continue my duty and should I go back to India. Because if they found during medical examination company will send me back to India. If I continue here nearer to machinery it is problem. Give me reply with good suggestions.

First let me say that I am sorry to hear about your health challenges.

Further research revealed that Lonazep is a brand name of Clonazepam. It is a benzodiazepine derivative with highly potent anticonvulsant, muscle relaxant, and anxiolytic properties which is commonly prescribed for epilepsy, anxiety disorders, restless leg syndrome, and several other conditions.

Some of the side effects do include drowsiness, as well as impairment of cognition, judgment, or memory - just to mention a few.

As far as treatment options go, of course there is the medicinal route. Sometimes they elect to perform surgery to take away the condition, although it is not always possible.

It does sound like the noises are aggravating your condition, especially if you have been fine for many years until recently. I can't say if you will have to go back to India, but I really hope you do not have to make any decisions you don't want to! Isn't there another kind of position you can fill there which would take you away from the problematic environment?

And how are you finding you dosing schedule of Lonazep at the moment? If you are taking an increased dosage the body might simply need some time to adjust.

I wish the best for you!
