1	Roy Says: Report Abuse Wednesday, 12/31/2008 2:26:07 PM 5112V is a generic Darvocet, which contains Acetaminophen 650mg + Propoxyphene 100 mg. It is a narcotic pain reliever, but is different from Vicodin because it contains Propoxyphene instead of Hydrocodone. The Vicodin 750 which you are talking about contains Acetaminophen 750 mg + Hydrocodone 7.5 mg. Ultimately everyone responds differently to medications, so please be sure to check in with your doctor or pharmacist regarding which one they recommend for you. Do you have any other questions?
