2	Verwon Says: [Moderator] Tuesday, 8/29/2006 7:59:08 AM Yes, Cymbalta has been shown to be effective in alleviating certain types of nerve pain as well as being an antidepressant. It does not work for everyone though, but you should try it for about 2 weeks or so, then you will see if it helps you at all.
