Absolutely, it is a Benzodiapine, the same drug class as Xanax or Valium. It tends to cause an initial spaciness in people who have not adjusted to taking the med, or have recently experienced a dosage change.
These type of side effects usually wear off in about 2 weeks, give or take a few days to account for a person's individual body chemistry and the way it may process a medication.

Thanks Donna. I also made a new post, copying in the info from the original article where I learned the truth about generic drugs, it also has a link to the relevant law that allows such. I also explained why your doc and/or pharmacist have to lie about it, and always have to tell you the generics are exactly the same.
