i'm trying to kick the habit of taking percocets. i started to abuse them after i sprained my wrist. i tried to go cold turkey but i had withdrawals

Last Saturday and you haven't been taking it regularly, more than likely not. You should be okay.

Taking them like that is dangerous, though, so please, don't make a habit of it!

Quite awhile. Each dose has what is called a half-life, this refers to the time it takes for the medication to reach 50% off its working amoung in your body.

Half-life varies according to dosage, so the more you take, the longer it takes to reach that 50% level, then it slows from there and takes about twice as long, or more, to reach a level where it is no longer detectable in the body.

Since you did not give a dosage, I cannot give you an exact time frame, but how long you have been taking it will also have an effect on the length of time it takes to be purged from the body.

It is VERY dangerous to take that many pills containing Oxycodone at once, this is a highly addictive and dangerous medication when abused!
