If you feel concerned I would notify the MD that is precribing you pregabalin. Weight gain and feeling woozy (such as: dizziness and drowsiness)

My second day on pregabalin and only feel slightly woozy at times. A bit dry but used to that with taking amitryptiline (didn't help nerve pain)No more tired than I was before taking medication as constant pain wears you down. Taking 50mg 3 times a day at present, but this will be increased to 75mg on 2nd week. Have had chronic face pain for over 30 years, so if this helps with the pain I can put up with side effects. Worried about weight gain, but if I feel better I am more likely to exercise more and not snack on chocolate to make me feel better.

Common side effects are: dizziness, drowsiness, visual disturbance (including blurred vision, diplopia), ataxia, dysarthria, tremor, lethargy, memory impairment, euphoria, constipation, dry mouth, peripheral edema, loss or decrease of libido, erectile dysfunction, weight gain, and many more.

Black outs was not listed as a normal side effect, I would contact your doctor and ask he/she what you should do.
