You can take up to 2 at a time. If you do, be prepared to sleep. Sleep is good though after getting your wisdom teeth removed, just don't freak out if you wake up with blood gushing out your mouth (that happened to me). The most you should take at 1 time is 2. Never take more than 2, and never take more than 6-8 in any 24 hour period.

yes, the 7.5 will give sedation effects if taken as directed, if more hydrocodone is taken in a regular time frame it will make your body feel as if its speeding up, an you may have difficulty sleeping, take the medication as directed its a instant release medication taking more than 1 will not give more releif,you may need the extra if a dry socket develops
