Anyone Else Trying Savella For Fibromyalgia? Friday, 11/20/2009 6:27:07 AM in Savella This is a new medication that just came out for fibromyalgia. I have several other conditions involving spinal degeneration , herniated discs, arthritus, etc. I've been taking this medication for a little over 2 weeks now and have worked up to the full dose. My biggest symptom seems to be upset stomach but I don't know if it's from the Savella or from de-toxing from 7 other medications that I've been on for over 10+ yrs. Is there anyone else out there that has started this medication that can give me any information that they may have on it? 66 Replies

Trilipix Was A Very Severe Side Effect For Me! Thursday, 11/19/2009 6:07:33 PM in Trilipix Trilipix I was on for 2 weeks and I broke out in hives from head to toe. My doc. told me it was the worst he has ever seen. My blood sugar was real high and my creatine and bun was high. This was the sickest I have ever been in my life. I'm 58 yrs old. He put me on prednisone I now have been on for 3 days. I'm now experiancing my arms and neck and hands hurt so bad I can't even turn my head or use my arms and hands. Cream For Burns Thursday, 11/19/2009 5:12:10 PM in Butesin Picrate I had asked for assistance in finding this product once before, but I think I may have spelled it's name incorrectly. This is a cream that comes in a tube that is used for smaller-scale burns: when you touch an iron, hot pot, stove, etc. It works like a dream, but seems to be impossible to find in any pharmacy, at least in the places I asked for it. Combizym ( Amylase Quantity) Thursday, 11/19/2009 4:06:27 PM in Cortomycin Otic Dear representative, I've been searching the market for a digestive enzyme for the longest time but Enzypride is the only one that comes close to suit my digestive needs. My body does not produce sufficient Lipase and Protease enzyme to digest respectively fatty food and protein whereas the amylase level in my body is high. As you know Enzypride is made of Amylase 11000 U, Lipase 12500 U and Protease 800 U, so is there a possibility that you can manufacture a batch with about 3000 U of amylase instead of 11000 U? The thing is I will be on this medication for the rest of my life so you can make the difference by being the only Pharmaceucal company to produce it and I'm sure there are other people suffering with the same kind of digestive disorder as this is the case for me. I'll be willing to pay three times the price of one. So the ball is in your hand make the right choice by saving the life of many. Thanks for your prompt reply. Help With Getting More Suboxine's Thursday, 11/19/2009 12:39:19 PM in Suboxone Hi, I have been on suboxines for 2 in half weeks now. I take two 8mg/2mg a day. I need more than two a day. I have been addicted to oxy's for along time now. I've lost my house, my job, & my car. I have a wonderful husband, and two great children, which I'm about to lose them. Im afraid Im going to go back on the pills. I still think about them. Two weeks ago, I tried to talk to the doctor about it, He just told me to take a whole one in the morning, half around 2, & another half at night, This is not helping, How could I ask for more. Trouble From Accutane? Thursday, 11/19/2009 12:17:52 PM in Accutane My son (Age 17) took Accutane for about 17 weeks when he started going downhill mentally. Dermatologist would not continue treatment until we brought in a note from a psychiatrist saying he was okay. I chose not to continue with treatment. Son seemed to be okay. Anyway, he now has odd behavior going around the house saying schnit, schnit, schnit and no, no, no. He also sticks his chin out, makes and odd movement with his lips, and you can see the cords in his neck. He sometimes stops when he walks. This seemed to start after stopping the Accutane which was around 6 weeks ago. He has lost weight, isn't interested in eating anymore, and feels that he has something wrong with his stomach. He looked at me one time and it was so sad because he looked haunted. Has anyone had any experience like this? I was told by the nurse about the side effects that if I read the side effects of Tylenol I would never take another Tylenol again. (This was due to my concern when I read the pamphlet given to me when I was considering Accutane.) Oh, it appears the acne is coming back too. Post a Reply
Accutane Long Term Side Effects Wednesday, 11/18/2009 10:44:46 PM in Accutane I have a son that took accutane 60 mg a day for six months in a row three years ago. Now after many trips to doctors over strange medical problems, it seems accuatne is the culprit medication that has caused servere joint and muscle pain, severe dry lips, redness in face, eye infections of own immune system attacking itself, systems of osteoarthritis in both shoulders, both wrist and right hand, blood in stool, possible hair loss, abnormal liver function test results in AST and ALT. My son went from being a high school football and track athlete while taking this medication three years ago to someone that is in constant pain just washing a car. After I have researched this drug extensively, I can't believe that the FDA allows this drug originally made for cancer patients to be marketed for teenagers with acne. All one has to do is look online what vitamin A overdose does to someone and then you have the results of what this medication has done to my son. This drug needs to be taken off them market ASAP and the drug companies that make it need to compensate all teenagers that they have possible ruined their future. Shame on them ! Hydrocodone-delayed Side Effects Wednesday, 11/18/2009 9:08:15 PM in Hydrocodone I have been taking hydrocodone APAP 5/325 for knee and joint pain(1-2 tabs. approximately 3-times weekly) for the past 6 months with limited side effects ( sweating). 2 days ago, I began to have severe dizziness, nausea, sweating approximately 1-2 hours after taking a dosage of 1-2 pills. I cannot find any difference in medications, habits, etc. that may be contributing to the sudden onset of the otherwise common side effects. Seroquell Side Effects In Children Wednesday, 11/18/2009 8:47:08 PM in Seroquel My son has been diagnosed with ADHD and OCD. He tried Zoloft and it was like someone shot him full of speed. My doctor and I discussed the possiblity he could be bipolar. He first tried him on Abilify. After two pills, he went into a manic episode so we took him off the meds. We then tried Seroquell. He took half of a 25 mg pill within two hours he was so drowsy he could not keep his head up. The next day, he was very tired and complained of headaches. He developed diarrhea. We went to the movie theater and go very upset. He was scared of the movie and wanted to leave. He sat by a big man and it made him very nervous. We had to get up and leave because he was so upset. These are not normal behaviors for him. Can he get like this after one dose of Seroquell? 2 Replies

Fentanyl Withdrawal Symptoms Wednesday, 11/18/2009 5:28:16 PM in Fentanyl I'm trying to wean myself off the Fentanyl patch. I went from 75 micro-gms to 50 now I'm on 25. Having a problem and not sure it is related to the decrease in the med. It's been 20 days on the 25 micro-gm and I'm going crazy. I need to keep rocking, moving in any way b/c my body is very restless. Is this a symptom of withdrawal and what do I do? I cannot take it any more. 154 Replies

A few years ago it went off the market and returning 4 years later under a different manuf. We have just been notified that it will once again become unavailable (Sept 2009).
