Ezetimibe (pronounced /ztmb/) Is An Anti-hyperlipidemic Medication Which Is Used To Lower Cholesterol Levels. It Acts By Decreasing Cholesterol Absorption In The Intestine. It May Be Used Alone When Other Cholesterol-lowering Medications Are Not Tolerated, Or Together With Statins (e.g. Ezetimibe/simvastatin, Marketed As Vytorin And Inegy) When Cholesterol Levels Are Unable To Be Controlled On Statins Alone. Zetia I have lower back into my upper thigh pain as well as shoulder pain. These pains seem to be in the muscle....I also have a bit of diarerra after starting Zetia. I have taken 5 other types and they have all had some sort of reaction in me. Please let me know what is going on with you. Am I the only one with these problems?
