Valium I was prescribed valium to help relax before my dental treatment. I was given 5mg the day before the procedure and 5mg 1hour before procedure. The pills were taken 12 hours apart. I developed severe side effects, basically attibuted to valium. It has been 5 days to the date and still feel dizzy, tired, shaky. How long will it take before the symptoms go away.
