Help With Getting More Suboxine's
Hi, I have been on suboxines for 2 in half weeks now. I take two 8mg/2mg a day. I need more than two a day. I have been addicted to oxy's for along time now. I've lost my house, my job, & my car. I have a wonderful husband, and two great children, which I'm about to lose them. Im afraid Im going to go back on the pills. I still think about them. Two weeks ago, I tried to talk to the doctor about it, He just told me to take a whole one in the morning, half around 2, & another half at night, This is not helping, How could I ask for more. I think three a day would be better for me.

I Need Suboxone To Show Up On My Drug Screen..
I have been taking blue Xanax for the past couple of days and my Suboxone Dr, who I am scheduled to see on Friday, does regular drug screens to make sure that only Suboxone is in my system. I've gotten one of my friend's urine to use on Friday. Only problem is, they don't take Suboxone! Can I sprinkle some crushed up Suboxone in their clean urine to show up that I'm clean besides Suboxone? If I just use the clean urine, he will know that it's a hoax because I've been testing clean but with Suboxone and there's no way I can go without taking it. But I can't just pee my own pee, because I was made to sign a form when I started treatment with him that states that an individual who tests dirty for Benzodiazepines SPECIFICALLY will be booted out of his clinic and cancelled as a patient. So, can't I just crush up a little Suboxone and put it in the clean urine or will that not work? Help!

Do You Gain Weight With Suboxone?
Hi I'm just starting to research suboxone. I'm currently going to a methadone clinic every day and it is such a hassle. I have to get up every morning at 4am to be there in time to get to work the line is so long but that's beside my point, My real question is Do you gain weight with Suboxone? This is my third attempt at trying to get off of opiates by taking Methadone but every single time I start taking Methadone I gain 40 to 60 pounds within the first 4 months. Most people do, some don't I just happen to be one of them. I get so discouraged by the weight gain that I stop going to the Methadone clinic and then start using again. Sadly my mom died from using the same drug I used before treatment. I have 3 children and want to get my life together again but I just can't cope with the weight gain. Can anyone tell me if Suboxone has the same side affect? And also is there any difference between Suboxone & Suboxine? PLEASE HELP!!!

How Do You Handle Back Pain While On Suboxin
My husband has had many back surgeries and procedures - he has taken 200 dalotid in 7 days - he has od'ed on morphien - he went on suboxen for 6 weeks - all was going pretty good - then he started saying he was in pain - then the suboxen wasn't helping - he never was addicted (8 years on opiods) he has a high tolerance - now he stopped the suboxen - and came home with a bag of pills - how do you handle pain without the opiods?

Suboxone And Adderall
I started subs four days ago I am taking a whole 8mg sub twice a day. I also take 45mg of adderall a day for ADD and i need the adderall because I am a college student is it harmful to take them together? The suboxone has done excellent for me, and has kept the oxy out of my mind. I got addicted to tabs when I was playing college baseball in order to play through two broken fingers and bum shoulder. So instead of doing a gut check time dealing with the pain through an ice bucket or taking some time off to heal up because i was just a freshman and i was battling it out for starting spot with a all-conference senior. I became immune to the tabs, so a player introduced me to oxy contin I was taking 80mg a day this continued into the fall season of my sophomore year until I tore the ligaments of my throwing hand I had to have surgery it was career ending injury and rehab was nine months during which I received perocets I began to stack them with oxy and adderall. This addiction almost destroyed my life.It almost cost me everything and put my parents through hell not only physically but also financially cause I used the money they sent me for living expenses instead to support my habit, but they continued to be my rock and never gave up on me. The suboxone made me feel like life did before oxy. I am now a junior and with the help of the Good Lord I am getting my life back. I would like to know if the 45mg of adderall is safe with the suboxone? I am having to buy the suboxone is there clinic i can go to thats not rehab to get prescribed or a doctor? What are my options? I went dry for a week but quickly relapsed, but I want this time I don't care how hard it is. So please any help with my options would be appreciated.

Hydrocodone/oxycodone Addiction And Resolution
Hi evrybody, i've recently been blessed with a son, but if we rewind back i was injured at a young age (18) however i still live with this chronic pain to this day, i've had an upper lapendectomy amongst other procedures to help my back, however i've been prescribed hydrocodone since then, i'm now 24 years old and can eat enough to kill a rhino, I have this new blessing in my life and i want to be there for him, however the days i don't have painkillers the pain is simply too much to deal with, i've been hearing about suboxon, so i've checked the internet, will it help with my pain? i have shooting pains down my legs due to nerve damage and what i believe was a botched surgery, things are'nt good on all fronts, i NEED to be here for my son, but i also need to be able to deal with this pain so as i can provide a life for him and our family. any suggestions from anyone who knows something legitimate as to how i can control my pain and not be hindered by that monkey on my back, and i know all these can't be good for my liver to boot. it seems i can function on 3 oxycodone when it would take 10 norco (hydrocodone) but good luck getting a doctor to write a script for oxy because of everyone who chooses to abuse them for all the wrong reasons, i'm curious as to what drugs can help control pain and what is safe to take while using subuxon to kick the opiate habit. and please, no preachy posts about god and how i need em in my life... what i need is an answer god or his fanatics can't provide by preaching to me, this is desperation for me, for my son.

What Not To Say During Suboxone Appt
My boyfriend has battled with heroin addiction for at least 2 years now. He was prescribed to before, but couldn't afford the maintenance program and ended up banging heroin again. He went back to his doctor to get a script for suboxone again last week, and the doctor wouldn't prescribe it to him. I found another dr who can prescribe suboxone nearby, and want to make sure he gets a script because he will die if he doesn't quit using. Does anyone know any reasons why a dr wouldn't prescribe suboxone? Thanks.

Am I On Too Much?
I have been on Suboxone maitainence for about 7 months now. It is doing a really good job at keeping me off of other opiates and any other kind of mood altering substance including alcohol. My question is this...I have been reading the threads and looking at how much people are being prescribed and they seem to be on much lower doses. I am taking two 8mg tabs BID (twice daily), which totals 36mg of Suboxone per day. Is this considered too much? Will I have a harder time coming off when I decide to give it a try? I was sober off of everything for 18 years and lived a 12step program to the best of my ability. My husband of 20 years (and also my heroin buddy) died of cancer with 18 years of sobriety last year and I absolutely lost it! I went back to the opiates harder and heavier than ever and wound up having to kick again and that's when they put me on Suboxone but I don't want to make it harder for myself in the end. Any thoughts about how much I am taking? Thanks!

What about pregnant women who are on saboxin?? Does anyone know if it is harmful to the baby? Would they test at hospitol and take the baby if the mother was taking this for opiate withdrawal? if they did not know. would they specifically test for it?

From the prescription drug community website, next to the listed drug, Suboxone, was the word 'Buprenorphine'. Is this the generic drug for Suboxone?

Suboxone Detox
Suboxone/Subutex should be used one way and one way only. Start with the professionally recommended dose; (usually according to one's opiate intake) and ween off of it in 5-14 days. Any longer than that and it becomes a crutch, simply trading one demon for another. I know people that have been on it for 3yrs, and when it came time to stop...HELL. I took it for a year. Mistake. I suffered worse withdrawals from that shit then any other before. I relapsed. Relapsed with a plan of pure Will. I used vicodin for two weeks, weened myself off and suffered much, much less. Suboxone is powerful shit, not to mention expensive. I am a member of Pills Anonymous; therefore, I am speaking not only from my own experience, but dozens of others. Trust me; save yourself. Aloha

Side Effects Of Suboxone
I have been on suboxone now for just under a month. I think it is an amazing drug, i have had no cravings or interest in returning to opiates, my drug of choice was oxy. I get up every day feeling happy, and am able to take on what ever the day brings me. I am also on lexapro for depression at this time. There is one problem after i take my dose, which is 8 mg. twice a day, I am extremely tired sometimes to the point where if i sit down I will nod off, so I keep moving and can usually fight through it. I am wondering do other people feel this way or does it get better the longer you are on it? Two other things that are sometimes very bothersome are dizzyness and extreme dry mouth. I just wanted to find out other peoples experiences. Thanx

Suboxone Does Not Show Up As An Opiate
I wanna say first Im not on here tryin to be a dr people are gettin the wrong idea but unfortunately i have been on the medication for almost 5 yrs bc of shady drs(but thats another story) an know alot about the drug an thats why i am on here to try to help out others. When it comes to drug testing Suboxone does not show up as an opiate it doesn show up at all, when you go to the Dr they use a certain test that tests specifically for Suboxone.Suboxone is under the opiate category but is not actually an opiate if that makes sense, when a drug is put out on the market it has to be under a category whether its opiate, benzos, etc,so they put it under opiates, but since it really isnt an opiate it does not show up as an opiate in a drug test, its kind of complicated but if you discuss it with your dr he'll be able to explain it better
