Sudden Withdrawal From Neurontin I have been taking 600 mg of Neurontin 4x a day for about 2 years and recentlty ran out of this medication due to excrutiating slow service from mandatory mail order RX company.... I was extremely agitated during this time (approx. 5 days), nervous, stressed out, etc. Has anyone else had these symptons as a result of sudden withdrawal from Neurontin? I can't understand why this happened, I felt so scared and lousy for that time. Is this a known reaction for this med? I haven't been able to find an answer. Neurontin & Inner Ear Infection/loss Of Balance I was on neurontin for almost a year then I lost my balance one day and then my inner ear was destroyed from an inner ear infection and I lost part of my hearing and now walk with a cane because of loss of balance. This all came on so suddenly and now Im ruined for life and cant get an attorney to take my case even though the symptoms of neurontin that I have are stated in the side effects of neurontin by the company that makes it. The side effects are stated under the companys side effects. I also have constant dizziness. The Dr did brain surgery to cut the balance nerve in my brain that is connected to my inner ear to try to get the balance back but it did not work. It says that all my symptoms are the side effects of neurontin. The side effects I have are listed under special sensesin the neurontin side effects. I have fell and broken several bones from the imbalance problems from this medication and recently fell and broke my nose and cracked my head open and Dr in the ER glued it back but I have a nasty scar for life on my forehead. I had black eyes for 2 weeks and I am still having headaches from this last fall. Never had anything like this till I took neurontin. It has ruined my life.I was perscribed neurontin for neuropathic burning in my arms and legs, and for fibromyalgis Can anyone help me get an attorney that will take my case? Neuratin/sinemet Ive just spoken to an 8o yr old lady who has been prescribed neurantin2 for restless leg syndrome. I am queering this as I am a huge suffer of RLS and sinemet is the more common med for this--then permax which are also for parkinsons . Neurontin I had been taking neurontin for numerous years with other medications. Neurontin was prescribed for me to help major depression ONLY. This medicine was added to my other medications to boost the other. I began falling and tripping etc. I went through numerous tests to see what the problem was. It took over 6 months to find out I was over medicated. Neurontin is for zeizures. There was a class action suit on this. Apparently the sales people were telling the doctors it could help with other conditions. The FDA only approved it for seizures. I was weined off of it and some other ones and do not fall etc. now. Side Effects Of Neurontin I was wondering if anyone has ever had any diabetic problems after using neurontin. I had to take it for nerve damage. I have never had any troubles with my blood sugar until after I stopped taking it. Now I have serious sugar problems. I am only 28 yrs old. My mother also had nerve damage in her arm and was also on it. After she stopped taking it, she started having extreme problems with her sugar. The thing that surprises me is that there is no history of diabetes in our family and suddenly we both end up with it within a year and shortly after stopping neurontin. Just Started Neurontin II am a diabetic and having some neuopathy in my legs. After reading the comments I may have to think twice about taking. I sing and surely dont need a voice change. getting ready to make a cd project ! Someone told me that it can cause you to have suicide thoughts and i dont need that. Cramps From Neurontin I have been on Neurontin for about 3 months but over the last couple of weeks I have been getting cramps in my legs like never before. 10 Years i was on it for 10 years. i now take topamax. don't have side effects if i run out. i was taking 3600 mgs of neurontin, now i take 100 mgs 2 times a day of topamax. it may help to talk to your doctor if you feel it's not helping you. Wednesday, 5/30/2007 4:26:25 AM Post a Reply

Cold Or Flu Like Symptoms After Using Neurotin In 2003, I was given Neurotin to use for a period of six months. Shortly after starting taking the drug, I developed a cold/flu symptom. I had a terrible running nose and the nose was always blocked. I was breathing through the mouth. Now, even after completing the dose over the six months period, the cold/flu is still persisting. It is almost four years now. My nose is always running, sometimes I finished a roll of tissue paper in a day. The nose is always stuffy and blocked, forcing to breath through the mouth. I also devloped constipation symptom. I persistently pass gas through the mouth, an average of once every one and half minutes.
