Methodone Withdrawal I was at 90 mg of meth and goin to clinic everyday and sweating/hiding it from family/friends for two years. My advice, get some benzos legally to help with the withdrwl. Mixing them can be dangerous:so don't! Go cold turkey IT DOES NOT LAST LONG. Trust me 3 days physically; sweating,leg cramps, etc but I PROMISE after day 3 or 4 it is all MENTAL! These clinics sell a product, its a business to them;::: SUBOXONE is just a transfer of addiction. Attend AA meeting I do. Cold turkey feels like ur goin to go but i PROMISE its all MENTAL. Get someone to support u.won't die! Its not alcohol or beno withdrawal. JUST TRUST ME.not saying its fun but it it DOABLE... I'm 23 days cold turkey and I count every one! Difference Between Two Different Distributors I receive 10mg Methadone made by Roxane Labs... my cousin receives 10mg Methadone made by Mallinckrodt Pharm... my cousin and my sister SWEAR & keep arguing that the Mallinckrodt is stronger than the Roxane.. i've explained that they are the same exact medication & strength, just different makers/distributors but they keep arguing they are stronger.. can you give me some answers or explanations that they may listen to? Use With Caution It Kills Too!!!!!!! Please becareful. My husband started treatment on a Thursday 10 mg. All day he felt weak and sick to his stomach. The next day the clinic claimed it was withdrawls and upped his to 20 mg sickness was worse and vomiting started dose. He continued 20 mg Sat and Sun getting even sicker. On Monday he was give 30 mg the clinic claimed the sickness was withdrawls. Monday afternoon he was vomiting, confused, his heart rate had dropped to 35 beats per minute. he knew he needed help but was unable to figure out how to use his phone to call 911. I think these clinic should have to monitor patients more closley the first weekand test for allergies. You need to ask how many patients your clinic have lost. Methadone No No No!!!!! Methadone is the worst drug and most wicked drug in this entire world. They give it to people like me with pill problems and then you can never get off the stuff. I made the worst mistake of my life going into a Methadone program. The people at these palces pretend like they are there for you but they are not. They are there to keep you on this drug that rots away at your mind and body, and they do it well. They want your money. Do you know how cheap liquid methadone is? They milk off your addiction and act like they are doing something good for people like me. I HATE Methadone. I hate what it's doing to me and I HATE that I came in this place for a pill addiction four years ago, at 22, told I had one year and I would be weened off and here I am. I fight with these people all the time about this but they come up with a million excuses for why I should STILL be on this crap. Detoxing -- Mind Over Matter! My adiction lead me to smoke 11 grams of herion a day with my soul mate. After 2 yrs We had to get help and went into a methadone program. I was up to 70mg's. But when I could no longer pay there $250.00 month payment I was forced to do a finacial detox...WHICH WAS MY DEATH!I daily dropping 5 mgs made me so sick kicking but I could'nt miss my daddys funeral. Iluvudad! The next day I got help from my sister who got me back into the methadone clinic and the dr. held me at 40 mg. holding at 40 for 3 months and once again I could not pay so they detoxed me from 40mg all in a 21 day period. Well 21 days went and left and 4 days later I'm on the streets buying 5mg methadone tablets 3 bucks a pop . Now I'm on 10mg tablets which were bought offf st's . Getting Off Methadone! There are 2 of us males early 30s. One of us underwent major back surgery 3 years ago and a has been addicted to pain meds for a total of 5 years and myself about 3 just from simply being his main caretaker and dipping into the cookie jar a few to many times like an idiot. We went back to our general dr. (same guy) And explained that we are both full fledged addicts an have been obtaining methadone off the street as is seems to be the only thing that works. He asked us what we where getting off the street and we told him Methadone. His response was, well that's the smartest thing you have done so far!? because of its extremely long effect on the body. We told him we need his help that we just have no money left and our livers are just a mess... we cant move on with life. He decided to put us both on 100 mgs of Methadone to keep us comfortable until he could make some contacts with the proper addiction specialists he new. We went for an appointment to his office once every week. We made various contact to different areas inpatient/outpatient programs who would not even touch us b/c we were at too high of a dosage of methadone and that they only work with Saboxin which means we would need to be down around 20 mgs of Methadone to make the transition to Saboxin. What a nigh mare. The doctor also did not have any luck with programs because they where either the scum of the earth clinics ,not to mention everyones famous new drug suboxone that could be treated in the privacy of a doctors office. About 3 months ago our doctor fell he herniated a disc or something, all of a sudden was going to be out of the office indefinately! He never referred us over to another doctor or anything. He just simply CUT US OFF the most potent and dangerous drug out there. Now we are back a square one and no one will touch us b/c are dosage is to high and there really is nothing they could do. If we could just get us a general doc to write for pain to get us down to 45-50mg, then all these options open up, a detox would be my first choice, but there is no way in hell we can both come off 100 mgd of Methadone that fast. Any general doctor in the state of MA can write for Methadone for pain well that would just help us greatly, but I'm starting to think that there is no hope for us, but I know I cant think like that. desperate in MA here. How Long Does Oxycodone Take To Show Up In Your Ur i used my sons urine for a drug tet for a job. the urine was too hot so they mde me go again. i have oxycodone in my urine nd they are sending both to the lab. Caon i say i took one while waiting the hour to go again? they are going to compare both urine samples, his is clean mine is ditry. Can i say i took one while waiting thats why mine is dirty?
