Drop In Glucose Level When I Miss Perscribed Dose On two occasions I forgot to take my perscribed metformin at dinner time (3- 500 mg HCL ER). With in 2hrs. my glucose level dropped very low and had to get sugar into my system.. Why? Cinnamon I would like to tell everyone who has diabetes, that my blood sugar was up to 110 four years ago and I have started sprinkling cinnamon in my coffee every morning.
