Lamictal And Smoking Majiuana I wanted to see if anyone can tell me the known side effects with smoking majiuana and taking lamictal, if any. I have been trying to get info on this for about 2 months and can not seem to get anything back on it. Of course my doctor and counselor says tht it is not good to do ANY drugs...but I have to be honest, I smoke and dont plan on stopping...so I would like to know what to expect when these two are combined. Thank you and I would love to hear a responce about this. By the way, I do not smoke alone so I need to know what to expect so I can educate my husband. Lamictal - Hydrocodone I am currently prescribed Lamictal for bi-polar disorder. I am getting my wisdom teeth out quite soon and as told by doctor, will probably be given vicodin for the pain. Limictal I have been taking Lamictal since Jan.2007 for grand-mal seizures...it is the best medicine in treatment. My last seizure was Dec.24,2006 (I won't 4get that one.) I busted my head open-9 stiches(1st.time) I have not had any trouble w-it, sometimes I get a headache, & I get nauseated, just in the a.m. I usually eat about an hr. after I get up, & it doesn't bother me at all. I used to have mini seizures, the last one I has Christmas eve 2006 was the worst one ever. I used to take Dilantin(generic one) & close to the end of 2006 I had one in Oct & the one On the 24th. My Neurologist weened me off of Dilantin w- a children's dose-chewable, tasted bad,anyway he started me on a five week starter pack at 25mg & slowly worked my way up to 100mg,which is what I take one in the morning & one in the evening, At night sometimes I get sleepy about 20mins later unless I am doing something like now. I was diagnosed w- Epilesywhen I was about12-13 yrs of age, I 'm 32 now. It does run in families....Now that I have been on Lamictal, everthing has stopped.... Lamictal My boyfriend is bi-polar. He started on Lamictal 25mg a day and has gone gradually up to Lamictal 250 mg a day. Most of the time I think that it has worked quite well, but as the dose has increased I have found his moods have become increasingly eratic again. Is it possible the dosage is too high? Is Anyone Out Of It Like Oh Ok Went on drug three years ago for bi-polor and got off to try to get pregnet in nov. noticed change so started taking it again. Can Lamictal Cause Blood In My Urine I have been taking Lamictal ffor only 4 days so far. On the 3rd day, in mid afternoon, I started having pinkish color urine. As the day went on, the color of my urine got darker and darker until late evening it was a darker red. By 11pm, my urine was a dark red but I went to bed. Went I got up the next morning the urine was a normal color until about noontime it started a light pink color. As the day went on, my urine would turn from a light pink to a darker red by the time I went to bed. This morning I did not take the Lamictal because I wondered if this medic ation was causing the blood in my urine.
