I ran an interaction check for you, there is a great one I use at drugdigest.org, they even let you check them against food and beverages.

They don't list any problems taking these two together or with drinking. But I do have to warn you, they will both cause drowsiness, and taking them together will amplify the affect, so if you take these and drink, you are going to knock yourself out pretty fast, and there is a really good change of getting sick and waking up with the worst hang over of your life. So I wouldn't recommend it.

i have two different pills and not sure what they are....one is orange and has 751 on one side and a large M on the other side? the other pill is a small white pill with m77 on one side and plain on the other? just wandering what they were. thx

It depends which type you are taking, if the regular Xanax, which is an instant release, then you are looking at around 5hours half-life, which is the time it takes to reach less than a 50% concentration in your body. So unless you are taking massive amounts, you are looking at 15 to 17 hours before it is completely expelled.

If you are taking the time released version, the half-life can go as high as 15 to 17hours, if you have a high-fat, high-cholesterol diet, then you can be looking at as long as 72 hours or more for the controllled release.
