Toprol With Ativan On Plane Trip I'm going on a long plane trip to Italy. Taking Lisinipril (10 mg a.m) toprol xl (25 mg) am and p.m. Dr. has given me Ativan (1 mg) for anxiety. I'm very worried about mixing these 3 all at one time. Also concerned about ativan not lasting through 16 hrs of trip. Any suggestions?? First time for Ativan. Toprol With Ativan On Plane Trip taking a trip to Italy, plane ride & stopovers, 16 hours total. Taking Lisinopril 10 mg a.m. and Toprol XL 25 mg a.m. and p.m. Much anxiety re plane ride. Dr. gave Ativan 1 mg to take 1 hr. before flight. Wondering if I could split dose in half in case 1 mg doesn't last 16 hours? Also, wondering about getting on Italy schedule for BP meds since they are 9 hours ahead of us in Az. Can I skip a day or take few hours early to get on same schedule as AZ? Any thoughts appreciated. Becoming Resistant? 02/08/2006 Is there such a thing as becoming resistant to Toprol XL 50 mg? I've been on this drug for several years. It seems like it's not as good as it used to be for me. I have no med. insurance and no income. I get the meds free from the manufacturer. But lately I don't feel so good in the middle of my chest and the palpitations are getting worse and more frequent. It feels like there is something too heavy (in my chest) for my body to hold in place. Also- could the manf. have changed the ingredients enough to cause my body to react differently? Is there some way to have one of the pills tested to verify the ingredients are correct and in the right amounts? This is starting to become debilitating for me and it scares me!
