The Unwanted Side Effects Hi there I have been a lifetime asthmatic prescribed prednisolone for many years .I had a bone density test 6 years ago and lower spine was minus 3.8 very bad indeed .I was able to change to steroid free asthma treatment ,serevent ,spiriva andintal for much better relief than I had ever had before .My new doctor prescribed fosamax ,decadurabolin and testogel together with weightlifting .My bone density has increased 20%.The point is that tyhere is far too mmuch pushing of prednisolone and similar steroids on an unsuspecting public .Who needs these problems that take so much effort to rectify .
