Generic Oxy?? a pill with M in a box on one side and 595 on the other side, i found it in my sisters room and she used to do oxys and quit as far as i kno, could this be a generic 40mg oxy, it looks exactly like it but diff numbers??? i appreciate any help thank you Tuesday, 12/2/2008 7:27:46 AM  3 Replies

Oxycotin Damaged My Teeth has anyone else known oxycotin to rot the teeth, i used to be on vicodin until my doctor told me i needed to swith to a morphine based meds she put me on ms contin but i had problems with it so she put me on 80mg oxcontin eventually my body built up a tolerance so she kept raising it, i have am now on from 4-6 per day of the 80mg tabs, it scares me that this is what rotted my teeth because only 5 yrs ago i had only 2 cavaties that needed filling and then only 1 yr after going on the oxycontin i had to have all my top front teeth pulled as they where rotting from the inside out the dentist said my mouth looked like a heroine addicts mouth looks he called it, he said it was shocking to him that normally he only saw such damage from someone who smoked crack or did heroine with so much dental damage, but i have never done any street drugs and have only take my prescription meds as prescribed to me, now i have lost 80% of my teeth and as a beautiful 41 yr old mother its devasting i cant afford dentures and sure cant afford implants like i would like to have. i am a single mother and i refuse to date because i have lost my teeth now, i had beautiful teeth before i started on the oxycontin and only 2 small cavaties that needed filling. can anyone help here does anyone else have this same problem and if so why hasnt the company making oxycontin warn patients of this possible problem, if i had known this would cause me to loose most of my teeth i would have never agreed to go on it, course my family doctor who has been prescribing them tells me she hasnt heard of any other cases yet when i researched the med online there where others like this why hasnt something been put in the warnings about this med, i sure would have prefered to have lived in pain the rest of my life rather than loose my teeth and be unable to even eat now, my health has gone downhill fast as i cant even chew foods necessary for good health all i can eat now are yogarts, and liquid type of foods which isnt much. my kids are 7 and 9yrs old and they watch me cry when we go out to eat and they order steak and i can smell it but cant order one as i know i wont be able to chew it, this is so devasting me i want teeth so badly if i could wish for anything in life besides not to be poor anymore it would be to have a full set of real teeth or implants but i could never dream of having them, and i dont know anyone out there willing to just help me get any either, i have always helped others all my life, but cant even help myself, i have had to have 29 surgeries now since 1991 when a drunk driver hit my car and caused me major injuries with my lower back and knees, i have had a full lower back fusion and 8 arthroscopic knee surgeries until a year ago they finally had to do a full right knee replacement and now they are talking about doing my left knee soon, so my life has been up and down with surgeries and i would go thru one more surgery just to have teeth implanted if i could. but i could never afford it, but i would like to know why these drug manufacturers are making a medication that could cause teeth to rot like this without warning us patients or even warning the doctors about it. this is just terrible of them i think, as now i am the one paying for this by having no teeth to eat with at such a young age now, i am a vivrant young 41 yr old at 5'3, 120lbs slim woman nice looking too as i was a model in my younger days so i keep my looks up, but to have no teeth now i never smile anymore, i am to ashamed to smile even though it wasnt my fault i lost my teeth i think they should pay for me to have new teeth but no one wants to admit that the med causes it, but my diet wasnt the problem back when i started the medication and i wasnt drinking coca-cola either or doing street drugs so i know that wasnt the cause either. the only thing that changed within one year to cause this was starting the oxycotin medication. well if anyone out there can help me let me know thanks. Mophine / Oxy /meth Does anyone know when Morphine Sul 100mg ER release the pain killer . a little history I was on methadone 40mg 4 times a day for 3 years dorctor said it was messing my heart up and put more on the morphine the100mg ER and Imediate 30 mg I find I hurting in about two hours then I need another pill so I justy wondering if thats how long the relase peorid is also I having to pay for my meds out of my pocket how much is the oxycontin I have problems breathing with the morpjine and does the oxy work anybetter Wednesday, 10/22/2008 11:10:18 AM  1 Reply

Fatal Overdose With Alcohol Sadly I know somebody who passed away not too long ago when he took Oxycontin along with alcoholic beverages. He was in his early 20's, and it is obvious that he had a substance abuse problem. Isn't it true that it is well known that the interaction between Oxys and alcohol is potentially fatal? Could it have been a suicide, or perhaps irresponsible use of prescription drugs? This is a very sad situation, especially for his family. It is also sad how these kinds of medication are being used illegally. Situations like this should be avoidable, however, if they are being abused just like illegal drugs then why aren't the authorities cracking down on pharmaceutical distributors the way they raid coke dealers, etc? too bad. In Kuwait I am a Gov't Contractor working in Kuwait, I have a lower back problem that req's me to the use of a mild narcotic to control the pain. A local doctor here has prescribed me OxyContin 80mg, which is way beyond my needs. Before I came I was on Lortab 7.5mg, which was suitable. My delimma is that in this country narcotics are not available and I don't know where to turn. I have looked into online pharmacies, but they seem scandalous and fraudulent. Oxycotton My husbands nephew works for him, we suspect he is using drugs probably oxycotton, crack, crystal meth, We aren't sure but we know he is on something. He says he's going somewhere that would only take a min, and it takes hrs sometimes all night. what sign should we look for, before we fire him and put him on a bus! PLEASE HELP US! Oxycotin Teva I was involved in a car accient last year and am now working with a Pain Manage clinic. I have had injections upon injections, epiderals, blah blah and now they belive it is a tear in my disc between L4 and L5. Needless to say VERY painful. The most recent visit has placed me on Oxy AGAIN. I acutally took myself off them a few months ago because the pain was not getting ANY less... actually the same if not worse regardless of how many or mg increase. At 20 mg 2 X day I said I am done and started to only take 1 them none. That was miserable... Switched Doctors.. told him all of this and what does he do .. BACK ON THE OXY.. I have found that Percocet 7.5/325 2 pills 3 X day work the best AND it I don't have bad pain I don't HAVE to take it. I am so frustrated and I have called them 1 time a day for the last 4 days to get this med changed STILL NO RESPONSE.... Need Help... This is the first time in my life I have asked for help. That is probably why I'm asking on a website and not family or friends. I have been doing oxy for about a year or so and i want to stop. Im 21and want to get a hold of myself before it's too late. I only do about 1 80mg pill a day but it's an expensive habit and it's not worth it. I need it when I wake up or I just feel terrible. Who should I talk to I have a doctor but he is short with me I have only seen him twice and I want to pick a new one.
