Famotidine (inn) (pronounced /fmtdin/) Is A Histamine H2-receptor Antagonist That Inhibits Stomach Acid Production, And It Is Commonly Used In The Treatment Of Peptic Ulcer Disease (pud) And Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (gerd/gord). It Is Commonly Marketed By J&j/merck Under The Trade Names Pepcidine And Pepcid. If Regular Use Of Femotidine May Lead To Trouble
I am using Femotidine as antacid since long which keeps my heart burning problem away. Will a dose of 20 mg. per day may cause some problem in future.
