Substitute For Drixoral Are any of the meds with same formula as Drixoral available anywhere? (Desihist SA, Dexaphen SA, Dexophed, Disobrom, Disophrol, Dixaphedrine, Drexophed SR, Drixomed, Drixoral, Duomine) Is the effect of Brompheniramine Maleate the same as Dexbrompheniramine Maleate? If so perhaps, Lodrane D-24 will work. Has anyone tried it yet? I'm fighting nausea, popping ears & wheezing while waiting for my pharmacy to get some. I'm so relieved to find I am not alone in only finding relief with Drixoral. Over the years, especially recently, I have tried others, but none do the job. Anyone having success with a substitute? Drixoral Hello, I am 53 years old. I started taking prescription Antihistamine in the 3rd. grade. at firrst I took Teldron spansules. This was discontinued shortly and I've been taking Drixoral ever since. I am HIGHLY alergic to DUST and have tried other pills but nothing helps like the Drixoral. Drixoral Just ordered Drixoral from Canada Pharmacy. It is made by Schering...hello?????? Is there a question here??? Can't tell me they had that much in stock. It has been months! There is something going on with this drug and it is pulled for other reasons from American Pharmacies. We, as consumers, should be privy to that information. Don't ya think? No Customer Consideration It's bad enough that Drixoral cannot be obtained. Only slightly worse is the lack of consideration on the part of Schering Plough who has left a good many Drixoral users without a cessation notice and not having increased at-plant inventories to last the year that the productwill not be available. Drixoral Here are 2 websirtes I have just recently placed orders with and no reference to not in stock. Placed morders with both and received confirmations of shipping. Keep in mind I did this on the 4th and 5th of July so if I don't receive any phone calls or emails stating they cannot fulfill my orders, we may be in luck. Drixoral I started a long time ago with Effidac which worked great for 24 hours. They pulled that off the shelves. I switched to Drixoral which only last for 12 hours but did the trick as long as it lasted. I guess that is the next time to go off the shelves.
