Side Effects Of Dexamethasone
I am taking this for ITP to try to raise up my platelets. an average persons platelets are about 1500 mine are about 50. I started taking 5 4mg pills a day for two weeks. got to the 3rdday of the second week and my body felt like I was going to explode, I gained 10 pounds. Severe gas pains, Severe pain in all of my joints, Can't think straight, Bad bruising all over my body. Stay up for days at a time. Slur when I talk, Bad sweats I called my doctor and he immediately took me down to two pills a day. I'm at day two of taking two pills and still feeling very sick. Just this morning I couldn't even walk without my ankles wanting to give out. It is to my strict understanding that you can't just stop this drug, However after this experience I would rather die.

Perscribed To Balance Hormones
my body doesn't produce estrogen, resulting in ovarian failure at a young age. i now have to take estrogen (birth control) daily for the rest of my life. i recently went to my doctor and he was concerned that i still have acne, ran a bunch of blood tests, and perscribed me dexamethasone. he said one of my hormone levels is high and this drug should balance it. i've been reading about it and i don't see a connection, only pretty disturbing side effects. i realize i am in an extremely rare situation, but does anyone know anything about this drug that may help me? has anyone had any experience with it? i don't feel comfortable taking it just yet.

I'm taking this medicine for a bad case of poison. I currently have a sinus headache. Can I take Tylenol Sinus or other sinus medication with this? I'm taking 4mg - 2 a day for 4days, and then 1 tablet for 3 days, and 1/2 tablet for 2days. This is day 2.
