It Is Commonly Used As An Antimalarial Drug (for Both Treatment And Prevention Of Malaria), And Is Also Used (combined With Sulfadiazine) In The Treatment Of Toxoplasma Gondii Infections In Immunocompromised Patients, Such As Hiv-positive Individuals.
