Slept For Almost 2 Days I was prescribed amitriptyline for my back pain. I took one 4mg on Tues night at 9pm. I slept most of the 22nd. Maybe awake 3 hours out of that day, but was very confused! I woke up at noon on the 23rd. Is this drug too strong for me or is this normal? Could it be the combination of the two medications amitriptyline and tizanidine? Migrains I just started taking amitriptyline 7 months ago for migrains. It started to help in the begging but now 7 months later it isnt doing much. i am on 20mg daily. Amitipylin Since i have begun to take Amitripylin I have had dreams again. I haven;t had any dreams in about 25 yrs,I am having less trouble sraying a sleep. and i feel that medicine is execellent medication.
