I found a small white oval tablet with a 3 imprinted on one side and a 79 on the other?

it is azolpideim. generic for Ambien 10 mgs. a sleeping pill.

That is correct, this tablet does contains 10mgs of Zolpidem, generic for Ambien, this is used for the short-term treatment of insomnia.
