Side Effects From Etodolac

My boyfriend is convinced that he is having a reaction to Etodolac. He states that after taking one pill he became achy, flu like. Every joint seems to hurt and he is even complaining that his skin hurts. He is also taking 800 mg of Skelaxin and Nexnium. Prior to the Etodolac he was taking 800 mgs of Ibuprofen 4 x daily. Is this a side effect to any of these meds? I've looked up and can't find this on any info sheets.

How is he doing, now? Has there been any change?

Have him checked for Fibromyalgia. It is a bit rare in men. I am a man and experienced exactly what he is going through. I was diagnosed 10 years ago. ETODOLAC will help the inflammation but not the pain. Flu like symptoms or sandpaper feeling on arm. He may need Hydrocodone or Norco which does help as does Savella, Lyrica. If he's had military service check that check too.
