i was prescribed riconia tab 1 per day by a postgraduate physician. Initially I had no problem but after 4 days I had stiffness on the left shoulder and any movement used to cause excruciating pain. I took antiinflammatory drugs and some massage, some light exercises, hot waterpresses. It vanished after 3 or 4 days. After a week again I started taking riconia and again the same problem. No drugs, no exercises. Vanished after 3 days. After 15 days I started riconia for a fresh trial. again I am with the same musculoskeltal problem. stiff left anterior back, shoulder and the pain and stiffness had travelled to half of my upper hand . I donot know whether it is the side effect of riconia or anything else. But when I stop riconia i am okay. the same side effect I used to have when I used to take the once a week alendronates for osteoporosis, after some 3 or 4 tablets. After stopping iam alright. Similar problem I used to have when one of the new proton pump inhibitors( i donot remember the compound) was given some 4 years back by a doctor br-in-law who came to India on a short visit. He brought the physician's sample that was provided to him. after stopping the drug the supposed side effect also vanished.

Hey buddy it seems you are allergic to reconia. I had been taking reconia for a year & it suited me too well. For a month I couldn't & faced health problems.
