My problem is that I get terrible nightmares and twice nearly broke my neck diving from the bed from a standing position.
I am 66 and uses blood pressure and anti- depression medication from 1995. The Tripeline I don’t use permanently. I started using other high blood pressure medication and changes to Prexum Plus (Perindopril) and Ciplavasc 10 in 2006. At first I took the Prexum in the mornings but it made me feel sick during the day. I then started taking it before bedtime. Although I started to get nightmares before the use of Prexum Plus. It is only recently that my they became a serious problem. I tried to use the Prexum in the morning and the nightmares are less serious but I can’t take the feeling sick the whole day. My blood pressure is 130 85 while I use the medication.
I am from South Africa, visiting my children in Canada and have a five months supply of Prexum.
Am I right that it can be the Prexum that causes my problem or what can it be?
Is there other medication that you can recommend to replace the current ones?

Hi Peter,
It is the Prexum that causes non stop coughing. I did eventually see my Cardiologist and he has taken me off the Prexum. I hope your wife has seen someone and that she is feeling better. Regards

I am suffering from neck spasm and pressure to the back of my head. I use prexum plus in the mornings and with a hour the syptoms are manivested. Is it at all save to use prexum plus and what can one use in the place of it.

I experience the same symptoms and the medicine was given to me after they diagnosed Atrial Fibrillation the slow one, I didn't have high pressure and now my sleeping pattern if badly effected. What other BPressure can you recommend I can use with no such side effects, I have to take Pradaxa 110mg as well Please canyou get back to me. Regards.

I WANT TO KNOW IF PREXUM 1 , 10mg CAN GIVE YOU SUGAR PROBLEMS. SINCE MY FRIEND IS USING PREXUM 1 - 10mg HE START STRUGGELING TO GET HIS SUGAR TO NORMAL. PREVIOSLY HE DID NOT STRUGGLE WITH HIS SUGAR

I have not had any issues. But ask your Doc if you can switch to Cialis. Works for both

I have been taking prexum plus for 2 years. It controls my BP correctly but the problem l have now is that l feel dryness in my throat and the left side of my tongue becomes swollen at times. Can l continue using prexum plus? Please help. l'm taking one tab daily. l'm 43 years old.
