take two emergen-c ,a multi vitamin and 3000 mg. of fish oil a day. i was on pain meds for a lot of years and that was how i was able to stop without being dope sick. trust me

your not a drug addict, but you have chemical dependence? not by choice? everything you stated defines a serious drug addiction. your asking for advice on what will closer resemble the effects of the k4 dilaudids. and your injecting the dilaudids that come originally in pill form by IV. even on methadome prescribed to you to help you get off the opiates, you still inject dilaudids, black tar heroin, and now you choose not to use your vien, but to muscle it in your buttocks. you state that you feel the effects of the black tar heroin within 2 minutes of injecting it into your muscle in your buttocks. and you state that in your hospital stay they gave you dilaudid in liquid iv form, and it was great and did the job, and thats what your looking for. you state you want to get the feeling that puts your chin to your chest. so dilaudids, black tar heroin, methodome, injecting the dilaudid pills. thats drug abuse. taking dilaudids that originally come in pill form and crushing them to inject them is abusing the drug. your using the drug in a way that it was not meant to be used, the dilaudid came in a pill to be taken orally, not to be crushed and melted down to inject like you said. im sorry i just do not agree with your statement that your not a drug addict, you just have a chemical dependence, and that its not by choice. you are clearly a drug addict, and by choice. there are people with worst problems, surgeries, injuries, that choose to take other alternatives then taking strong opiates such as dilaudid, oxycontin, and specially not using heroin such as black tar heroin that you stated... thats clear absolute drug abuse at its worst.

Also, you stated use of 'black tar heroin', which is illegal and never prescribed (when you BUY drugs, or get them off the street, im sorry, but that makes you an addict as well). I understand chemical dependence, as well as addiction- it is clearly possible, and verly likely, to experience both. When you abuse a drug such as you are, by injecting, snorting, or simply taking as NOT prescribed, you are an ADDICT. When you admit this to yourself, you open the doors for help. Until then, your dishonesty to you and your doctors will prevent any positive changes to your medical, or mental conditions, and/or pain management. Please consider, I am not trying to blast you out, or make you feel like a lowlife- I myself have been dependent on very strong painkillers and barbiturates- and was, as well, in denial of my addicted state. It wasn't until I admitted my problem was I able to being helping myself rectify the situation, and get my pain under control in a responsible, healthy manner. I only wish the same for you.

Oral Dilaudid has a half life of 2.6 hours, meaning it is metabolized in about 5 hours. If you are given a 10 drug urine screen an hour or 2 after you inject an ORAL pill, chances are, you will pass. That's why Florida rehabilitation programs are having so much trouble catching relapses- you can't drug test everyone every 2 hours and people are using frequently but not getting caught. Taken as prescribed they last longer, as stated before a little more than 5 hours.

my husband injected one yesterday about 6pm and just took an at home test at 12:35 pm and passed it. he has to pass one at 4 for drug court. The people in his drug court had been saying it only takes a day and I didnt believe it, but it was a DARK line..... GOOD LUCK. ps.... dont take after 10 pm

I know from experience, as i am on methadone and get tested every thursday, that if you drink lots of water with lemon juice, and take a long hot steamy shower and pee lots and lots and cranberry juice helps too....that you can pee clean. I inject Ds and hydromorphs. For anyone that is thinking about takeing up the habbit, i strongly believe you should stop right f***in now. Im 20 years old and i cant go anywhere without having my drink every day, and i have to go to a docter every thursday. I have no life, just a boyfriend who controlls me, and nights and nights of tears

These responses are retard funny... But i was gave 1ml of diladid with 1ml of tordal for pancreatitis i will say that is the worse feeling I have ever had.. I will never take that mess again ... I would rather deal with the pain. My heart rate dropped down to 34 bpm an a blood pressure of 99 over 68 they pumped me with fluids to increase everything to normal... NEVER AGAIN

Why would you go to a methadone clinic just so they can keep you high. Methadone is way worse then opiates. it gets in your bone marrow and f***s you up. NEVER EVER go to a methadone clinic thats why theyve been shut down in parts of U.S. You should shut the f*** up if you dont know what your talking about.

I thought it was only 3 to 5 days, but I did two k4 and two k8 one day I took a drug test 6 days later and it was still in my system. I think it can stay in your system for up to a week. This was the only day I did these to. I never did them daily and it was still in my system. So tell her to be careful.

I would ask your doctor to up your dose to 8 mg dilaudid I get 120, 8mg tablets a month and I would suggest asking for 100mg fentanyl patches, they last 3 days and are specifically for around the clock pain care. I usually Change them every 2 days though, because I find that on the thIrd day they start getting weaker and my dr. Prescribes me 15 a month which is plenty. This way it's always on and I don't have to worry about missing doses and then being in terrible pain. These are the strongest patch, I have been through methadone,OxyContin, and everything inbetween, this is the best combination I have found so far for me.
