Why Did You Take Excedrin Off The Market (Page 3)

I can't take aspirin so I have been taking aspirin free excedrin. All of a sudden I can't find it anywhere. Am told that they recalled it because they found glass in it.

I noticed while in SAMS club that they are selling huge bottles of excedrin. I too am a migraine sufferer. When I stopped seeing excedrin in stores, I went to Ibuprofen and am starting to see side effects from it. Is the excedrin that SAMs club is selling safe to take? Excedrin worked best for me

they were to taken off the market I looked in every store everywhere they were removed from every place I went and when you ask about them nobody knew a reason why there was no news about it or anything

Yes, now it's gone! I can only surmise that it's gone because it worked. I found I could use it with my now changed and weakened presc. Anyone who thinks you
can use any over the counter to get rid of a migraine doesn't have a clue what a
migraine is!! Midrin disappeared first, I thank my Lord that I don't have clusters
anymore but I don't know what people are doing that have them! I had a stroke
years back from migraines when I would suffer through them. I thought I was dying, not knowing what it was. Finally went to doctor and tried it all including Caffergot which turned my stomach and on the instructions admits it can cause
gangreen. I'll bet that's still on the market. Most people out there think it's just
a bad headache. God help us.

Have been buying wonderful (and low cost) migraine relief in the form of Sainsburys and Tesco own brand Paracetamol Extra Power, with aspirin and caffeine - like others mention, the only thing that works and doesn't make me feel even worse. Just discovered it's not available now from Sainsburys and haven't yet tried Tesco to see if they are still doing it, but now have looked on the internet to see if there is anything about why it's no longer available and have seen that this combination is like Excedrin in the US which isn't available here in the UK. Has anyone found a similar product in the UK and if so, is it prescription only or available over the counter and where? Thanks for any insight.

Hi, For the people who need the excedrin p.m.. most of the time Advil, tylenol, and all other meds use the exact ingredient that Dramamine has in it. So just get excedrin and buy Dramamine and add one at night. Check for yourself, it's great. It's the main reason that Nyquil has a new sleep medicine. All it is is liquid Dramamine at 3 times the price.

I too believe it's formulated to get you hooked. My biggest symptom when I've been taking if for a few day is severe anxiety and very depressed, with really dark emotions.
