Testopel Pain

I just got testopel implanted and have an enormous bruise where it was implanted and uncomfortable pain for over a week. Is this normal?

Based on my research, "Inflammation and pain at the site of subcutaneous implantation of (testopel) testosterone containing pellets", is listed as a normal side effect.

If it doesn't appear to subside or go away after a while I would just encourage you to ask your doctor about proper care for a quicker healing. Bruises usually tend to go away within a matter of a week or two.

I had the same type of bruising when I get Testopel (getting ready for 4th time next week). I was a bit shocked at first. I did have pain, but was able to manage it with OTC pain relievers, like Advil. However, I later learned to minimize both, by keeping the ice pack they gave me on it, wrapped in a towel, for up to an hour immediately after the procedure. Hope that helps and you get good results from the Testopel. If your pain doesn't improve I'd recommend letting your doc know.
