Synthroid Caused Hbp And H Cholesterol

I had my Thyroid remove due to thyroid cancer and have been taking synthroid for 3 yrs, since then my Blood pressure and cholesterol skyrocketed, before surgery(synthroid) my BP around 120/75 and Cholesterol below 5(around 200), now it's 140/80 or hinger and Cholesterol 6.6.

Has your doctor definitively related the medication to these bodily changes?

There may be other reasons, including after effects of the surgery, or other medical reasons, such as aging, poor date, improper exercise and etc.

It's very hard to blame a medication and prove that it has caused conditions that are very common.
