You should follow the recommendations of your doctor, they sometimes prefer people to take these at night, since they can cause a sudden drop in blood pressure that can result in severe dizziness. That means you should be in bed and already laying down, if you experience this.

I take 5mg of zanidip and take it before lunch, I haven't had any problems taking it then, but I am sure mornings is fine aswell. 5mg is a small dose.
