I have been having recurring vaginal itching & a thick creamish & greenish discahrge for the past 10 yrs, each time i go to the dr they say it is a fungal infection. I am worried now cause this keeps coming back. Just yesterday they gave me Doxytet & Clotrimazole cream. Pls help, will this really help me. Sometimes when making love it is painful, then i loose concentration of the whole pleasure thing.

I know this post is from last year but if your b.v. in cronic I just wanted to tell u about a book I bought while having the same problem. Flagyl and antibiotic kill all the good bacteria and you build resistance to them setting you up for constant infections. I know we r told not to douche but if u buy disposable douches and fill them with 3/4 distilled water (has to be distilled no bacteria or flouride) and 1/3 hydrogen peroxide. You can also add some plain yogurt and douch 2x daily I promise you you will be amazed and angry your doctors didn't tell u sooner and kept charging you and giving you meds that don't work. Best of luck. I promise it works amazing. I think the book cost $5o and told me exactly what I told you. Good luck.
