I've been taking Lo Loestrin Fe at the same time every day consistantly for two months with no period... is this normal?

I took lo loestrin fe for a whole month, i had unprotected sex on the last friday and sunday of my pack. i bled a little through the beginning.but no period yet, i didn't start on my second pack bcuz of the price. im about 9 days late, i took a pregnancy test a week after my missed period and it turned out negative, should i wait one more week and take it again just to be sure? please help!!!!!!

You ladies are lucky.

My doc put me on Lo Loestrin FE when I told her I had 1-2 days of really bad cramps and bleeding with Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. I have been on the Lo Loestrin for 2 weeks now and have had two solid weeks of bleeding (not just spotting) and cramps and bloating. I don't know if I can be on these pills long enough to see if they will make my period/cramps go away. I will probably call my doc next week to go back on Ortho Tri. It seems much more reliable...I know the exact days I will bleed and had it set up so that I would have my period Mon-Fri and never on weekends.

I have been on lo loestrin 24 fe for three months now and on my third month my period was extra light and as i was leaking it looked like blood but on my pad it was brown. Is that normal and just a very light period? That lasted for days I was on the brown iron pills. I also have been feeling very bloated, full when I eat and feel like I have a lot gas built up in my stomache causing pains after starting a new pack. What can this be?

But when you did have periods did they show as brown? is that normal while being on lo loestrin 24 fe? because it's been three months and my period was very light drying up as brown. I don't know if that's even considered a period and I was wondering if any one can clear it up for me please! because now a week after my period I got white discharge and a bit of pains in my stomache around my sides after a couple days of starting a new pack of white bc.

I've been on lo loestrin for 5 months and haven't had a period, I took a test the second time I missed and it was negative. Today, on my 6th day of active pills, I've started a period with dark brown blood. Has this happened to anyone else?

I experience the same exact symptoms - insomnia on the sugar pills and have not had a period in three months on it. My doctor forewarned me about this, so it was expected and also explained it's not dangerous. Hope this helps!

I have been on loestrin 24FE for 6 years. I rarely get my period and like many of you I take the pregnancy tests like crazy. I guess this is normal. But I hate the anxiety that goes along with it! :-/

Wow! In never related my limbs falling asleep to this pill before! But that happens to me too! One night I jad such a bad headache and my legs and arms kept falling asleep and it scared me..I have been on this pill for over a year now. I mostly notice moodiness. But now I realize it may cause much more.

I've been on the pill for 5 or 6 months now, the first two or three months I got my period during the blue pills which my doctor told me was normal. I've never ever had a regular period, I always used to skip a month here and there which would definitely freak me out but I was never pregnant. I still have yet to get my period during the sugar pills, and the past two months I haven't gotten anything at all. The first month it was absent I thought that the pill just wasn't doing anything and my period was the same as it always has been, skipping a month here and there. But today I'll be taking my second sugar pill of the pack and haven't seen any sign of my period. The other night I had such bad cramps that I had to take two Midol pills, but now I see nothing. What you ladies are saying is definitely easing my mind a bit, but I'm still too afraid to take a test in fear of actually being pregnant.

I started Loestrin Fe 2 and a half weeks ago in an attemp to skip my July period which is schedules to start on July 6th, the SAME DAY that I am a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding. I have very heavy periods. A super+ tampon barely lasts me two hours on the firstt 2 days. I started bleeding last thursday, now it's day 5--still bleeding. I don't always manage to take the pill at the exact same time every day, but I have never gone more than 2 hours past my self-appointed pill time. Could that be the problem? I was trying to dry it up for a month!

I started this pill over a month ago, and am a few days into my second pack. The first week on the first pack, i started bleeding for about the same amount of days as my period would be. I am supposed to be on my period now, but am not. I generally take my pill between 9 and 10 p.m. because I have class late somedays and would take it before or after class, so not at a consistent time. I have also had protected sex with my boyfriend. Lately have been very emotional and crying easily. Also some bloating and had some breakouts about a week ago, and have had a loss of appetite. On my last pill, I would have some symptoms a week before my period also. I am kind of concerned about missing because I have not taken the pill at a regular time. Reading all of the other comments makes me feel better about this pill, but I might take a test just to give my mind some rest!

I started taking lo lo Fe 2 months ago. First pack is normal but when i started my 2nd pack my period came back a Week later after my period n I been spotting for 3 weeks n i called my doc n she said to take 2 blue pills a day for 2 days n still cant stop spottin. I take my oills daily same time. now in starting the white pills then brown n I'm hoping I'm not the only one goin thru this mess. I want the spotting to be over

I started this pill a year and a half ago and I have had regular periods up until 3 months ago and have stopped having them. I too was concerned and called the doc. We did a pregnancy test and it wa negative. The doctore says because the estrogen is so low that I will not produce a lining, thus not having a period. So for now I will take that answer and enjoy not having one. :)

I went to my doc before I started my June period to get bc to try to delay or skip a period for my vacation in July. I started taking Lo Loestrin Fe the day that I started my June period. Next weekend is when I go on vacation and is when I should be getting my July period. I have read that if you want to skip your period do not take your white or brown pills. Will this work? I also read to start my new pack and take the blue pills the day I get to my white pills. Any suggestions?? Please and thank you!!

I have been on this pill for three years with no period. My gyno says this is common with women who take loestrin. So enjoy it. No more ruined pairs of panties or terrible cramps.... Its a blessing!

I took my pills June 15 - July 13 . Its been a week since I am done with the pills and still did not get my period.

I've been on Loestrin for a little under a year now. I stopped getting my period all together a few months into taking it. The past two months I've experienced symptoms of a period, just no actual menstruation. This month is worse, I'm having headaches, nausea, & mild cramps. My breasts are also sore. Anyone else experience this?
