Lo Loestrin Fe - Missed Periods (Page 3)

I've been taking Lo Loestrin Fe at the same time every day consistantly for two months with no period... is this normal?

I just switched to lo loestrin from loestrin just 2 months ago. This month I did not get my period. This is normal for the pill.

Ive been in Loestrin 24 Fe for about a year and a half. I got an extremely light period every other month or so for the first year. But i have not had my period for the last 7 months! Not only drop of blood. I am NOT pregnant either. Ive been reading some posts and it looks like i am not alone. Has anyone heard anything about Loestrin getting rid of your periods? I just want to know that I am alright.

I have had the same thing, i'm 3 monthes in & I had no period at all on the sugar pills.. I'm taking a pregnancy test today just in case, but I don't think i'm pregnant I take the pills everyday at the same time & haven't missed on, only took one a few hours late. I think it's hormonal & normal to miss you period on this pill. Other then that it's scary but no other side effects!

I have been taking loestrin since April and I have not had a period since May. I felt bloated all the time from not having a period so I stopped it to make my period come at the beginning of August. Still no period. My boyryfriend and I had sex last week un protected and I was wondeirng if i could possibly be pregnant if i hadn't had a period since may

I started taking Lo Loestrin in the beginning of May (I've never been on the pill before.) I haven't had a period since then but I do have bloating around the time I think I would normally get one. I haven't had any problems with weight gain at all (I'm very active), but during the first month I did feel nauseous and had headaches. They went away soon though...if you take it at the same time each day you should be alright!

I've been on Lo Loestrin Fe for 11 months for endometriosis. I don't take the last four pills of the pack by dr's request. I haven't had any side effects until now, about 10 hours after I take the pill I have migraines, they have been constant for about 3 weeks. Also, my boobs have grown a full cup size and are very sore. Not pregnant, already confirmed with a test. Does anyone else have side effects like these after being on Lo Loestrin FE this long?

Well I am about to finish my first pack of Lo Loestrin Fe but a few days ago I had sex with my boy friend and we wore a condom but now is the time I usually have my period but its brown and red and really thick. Is it normal to have a period the first pack or am I having early signs of pregnancy? I a really scared and would like some advice.

I haven't had a period in 11 months after I started taking Lo Loestrin FE. It's perfectly normal not to have a period according to my doctor.

I went through the same thing!!! I have been on lo loestrin for over a year it varies but I have little to no period. I spoke with my gynecologist and she told me that it is perfectly normal with this particular pill.

My advice, bite the bullet like I did and for your own piece of mind take a pregnancy test. You will feel so much better afterward knowing you have nothing to worry about :)

I have been on Lo Loestrin Fe for 8 months also and am considering going off this pill. I am concerned about when my period would resume. I've been very regular with the pill and have never missed it/ taken it late etc. Thanks in advance for your help.

I been on this Birth Control since feburary. I have not have period. I always have period like symptoms but never actualy bleeding. At first I was worried sick and went threw pregnancy test after pregnancy test and they were all negative. I tend not to worry about it. Id rather not have a period as long as I am not pregnant.

Rest assured I have been on this pill and have had the same issues. When I saw my doctor this past June for
My check-up she told me that as long as I have taken my pill correctly and have not missed any that I am fine. She did say that you have to be careful with prescription medicine, and also if you experience diarrhea/vomiting this could make the pill not as effective. She then finished by telling me to stop wasting my money on pregnancy tests. I too love this pill, and this is slowly becoming less bothersome to me.

About 3 months ago I switched from the depo shot to the lo loestrin fe, not having a period for the last 5 years (I am 26). I am horrible at taking the pills and just realized i haven't taken one in four days. i have not been sexually active so can I just start a new pack tomorrow (sunday) or do I need to wait a few weeks and then restart?

I started taking Loestrin FE in January. From then until June, I had a period that lasted 5 days... every 10 days. It was awful. Since July, I haven't had a period. I've taken 4 pregnancy tests... all negative. It would appear that this is, indeed, normal. Phew!

I am going on my second month taking loestrin. I had never missed my period until now. It's a relief knowing I am not the only one. It just feels abnormal since I am not used to this.

i have been on lo loestrin fe for 6 months now and i go from no periods for over a month to 2 in one month and they are all random. I went to my doctor for my check up last week and she said this happens because it is too low a dose. she is moving me to a high dose pill. hope this helps

Phew. I was just starting to google if it was normal to not get any period or spotting at all on this pill. I would say I am on my 6th month with it and don't recall having a period ever. I had a procedure done in the gyno and she did a pregnancy test and it came back negative. So happy this could really be true! I mean for a few days I feel symptoms like I am going to get it but then it never comes and on to the next pack! I am much more at ease but I will probably take a home test just to be certain.
