To answer your other question, yes, it is possible to stop taking this drug without major withdrawal effects. However, depending on how long you've been taking it for, there comes a point where your body becomes so reliant on the medication that it can forget how to function properly without it. In which case you should probably direct this question at your doctor. But from my perspective, I haven't read anything from anyone stating that they've had major withdrawals after stopping it..
