I just bought these pills, took my first one and felt drugged so I started doing research. There is alot of discussion here but no follow up. Does anyone know how to get to the bottom of the truth here? There are numerous accusations but nothing concrete and I cannot believe the FDA hasn't stepped in? Anyone know any links that are factual and not speculative. I had little appettite but knew somehting was amiss. Lead, arsenice, and banned medications are frightening!

INDIRA- hi. i just bought the pills and i see you lost 20 lbs and didn't excersice does your body looked toned?? i'm always very busy and dont have time to go to the gym.

I am interested to know about your blood results too. I have bought the pills already and now I am scare to take it. My concern started because they are so cheap and for me this is not normal....

Hello Smarcus, i am taking the Fruta planta pills and would like to share my experience with it too.
Im 23 years old and around 5.3, my weight before taking the pill was very close to 170lbs, today i just finished the 1st box and my current weight is 150lbs. (no workout or excercise at all). This pill gives me energy, and controls my cravings but one of the side effects that has been bothering a lot is the persistent dificulty falling asleep, and extremely mood changes, i can go from happy to sad in just 5 minutes, many times i have found myself crying for no reason and i have to say that normaly im always laughing and cried only in funerals.

The serotonin reuptake that Fruta Planta has is sibutramine. From what I read, this ingredient can be fatal.

I started taking Fruta Planta after I noticed my neighbor lost 30 lbs. I lost 8 lbs in two weeks, however I did have dizziness, strong headaches and end up in the ER with a Urinary infection and a Kidney infection. I did not know this was related until my co-worker who was also taking them came to work with antibiotics because she also got a UTI.

Okay... I just wanted to comment on these fruta planta pills first of all I have been taking them for over a month against my better judgement. I have lost about 20lbs with absolutely no exercise. They curb your appetite for sure there have been days that I have to basically forse myself to eat the only side effects that I have experienced have been EXTREME dry mouth every day and constipation. I know alot of people that take these pills and I don't know anyone that hasn't lost weight on them so in that sense they are great! However, my main concern from the start was that I wanted to know what the ingredients are in these pills I have done a ton of research and have come up empty and the box is useless to me since it is all in chinese. But my best friend who is the person I purchased these pills from, she emailed the seller that she recieved the pills from who is a woman in China who apparently is a big seller to people in South Florida where we are, anyways my friend emailed her and requested a list of active ingriedients she initially sent us a list in chinese and after we wrote her back asking sor an explanation in English she finally just wrote us back with the last that turnesd out to be pretty scary. According to our seller these pills contain lead and arsenic along with herbs and L carintene. I know some people say that they contian seratonin uptake inhibitors but her list did not include that however I would not be the least bit surprised if they do. And just to respond to your question I understand you not wanting to say anything to your Dr. cause I felt the same way but mixing that with antidepressants can be very dangerous I say this because I am anursing student as well as assistant manager for an ENT. Anyway if you want to know if you will lose weight on these pill YES 100% but at what cost I do not know. As I said I have not had any major side effects but after finding out they contain lead I am going to request that my Dr. run a heavy metal panel on me so this means that I will also have to confess to my Dr. that I have been taking these pills. For the meantime I have stopped taking the pills weather or not I will start taking them again will depend on what my blood work reveals, I will keep you posted. As a medical student, I would not recommend taking this pill. I have been doing research on this pill as some friends have started taking them. One of them ended up in the hospital while others seem to be losing weight with no side effects. However since your on an antidepressant, I would not even consider taking this as it could lead to life threatening consequences.

hi, i just ordered the fruta planta from amazon from a highly rated seller with great reviews from the product. it was fairly cheap so if it doesnt have that silver seal i wont be too upset. but i do have ONE IMPORTANT QUESTION!!

i read that one of the ingredients that was banned from the FDA is a seritonin reuptake thingie..(sorry im so informal but i know nothing about that) and i am on an antidepressant already. will this be harmful to me? i dont want to tell my doctor yet he would deffinately be mad. but im willing to do anything to lose the weight. please answer!!
