I got prescribed this medication Fluconazole 100MG for three days. I took the first one at 250 but on the second day i forgot to take it at the same time but i still took it. And today was my last day and i took it around the time I was suppose to (around the same time i took the first one). Will it effect my results??? ## Hi, Jessica! How are you? i have been prescribed with fluconazole 150 for my yeast infection for 6 consecutive nights. yesterday night was suppossed to be the last one, but i forgot to take it! what should i do? ## What did you end up doing? You should have taken it as soon as you remembered. This isn't really as touchy as an antibiotic, since it's an antifungal, so the spacing of the dosages doesn't have to be exact . I have been prescribed Trimethoprim 6 tablets-only for 3 days on last week for urinary infection and my doc check my vaginal discharge n urine n put it into on lab.the report would be come on 23 rd April .But It didn't cure my vagina discharge! I was prescribed 2 150 mg fluconazole. I was directed to take the first pill immediately and the second pill in 3 days. I plan to have sexual intercourse in two days however. If I take the pill tomorrow or a day early, what will happen? ## I asked my doctor the same question as yours. I found small powder pink pills, wedge shaped, 4-sided, not triangular, looks like someone cut the point off. Imprinted with 100 on one side, the other side is blank. Any ideas about this? after taking 1 capsule of apo-fluconazole-150 and 2 capsules of zithromax, how long ater u should wait to have sex? ## What are you taking them for? Is it for some type of STD? Or are you referring to their possibly altering the efficacy of oral contraceptives? have a jock itch type rash on both sides of upper penile area. doc said it was yeast infect and prescribed fluconazole one per day for 3 days. It helped but it is back after 4 weeks. I take many supplements including red yeast rice which I just cresumed after being off it for 3 weeks. this rash is not large but gets somewhat painful if I'm active outside ## It's most likely related to your outdoor activities, the moisture from sweating allows the yeast to grow. Exactly what is this antibiotic for and is it a broad spectrum antibiotic? I got it today for vaginal infection which I stuggle to get rid off. Is just 10 tablets, one twice a day, effective and enough? I also got ASPEN FLUCONAZOL 150 which is only one capsule. My doctor precribed 3 day 150 mg fluconazole for intestinal yeast (plus 2 refills). Is 3 days enough and when should I take the rest? Thanks ## The dosing varies, depending on the infection being treated and the severity of it, many cases only require one dose, but since your doctor prescribed it for 3 days, it's a fairly good guess that the infection is pretty problematic and they want to make sure to wipe it out. As to when to use the rest, unless they instruct you to do so, they probably just prescribed them as in case measure that aren't intended to be used. Some doctors will do this, so if the first round doesn't completely clear it up, they can just have you run to your pharmacy for another refill, rather than have to go in for another appointment. I just need to know if I can take fluconazole at the same time as my UTA capsules. Its thanksgiving weekend and my usual pharmacy is closed and so is the doctors office. Any help would be great, thanks. ## Hi Moonbeam, I know you posted this on Saturday so you may have already found an answer, but from what I was able to gather there are no drug interactions found between Fluconazole and UTA (hyoscyamine/methenamine/methylene blue/phenyl salicylate). I have been prescribed Predmet 4mg Tablets 2 tablets each day for 3 days. I have a fungul infection in my ear which is inflamed and the ear discharges when I am asleep. I have trouble hearing because of the constant wetness in my ear and this drug was prescribed.
